1-DAY Concrete Coatings in Action

Our mission: to coat 930 sq ft of concrete flooring, adding a stylish, durable, low-maintenance coating that can stand up to a bazillion (thereabouts) happy patrons.

Our timeline? Well, just one day. We wanted the impact on their operations to be as minimal as possible, so we planned, we prepped, and then we got to work:

• The bar was closed on Monday, allowing us to get in and have the day to do our thing
• We started at 6am so that the tap house could be open for business the next day
• There were some trickier elements to work around, including control joints, columns, and bike racks, but we didn’t have any problem navigating the details
• We masked off the televisions (since we grind the concrete surface, and wanted to be sure any electronics were protected)
• Following our standard procedure, we applied a Silver Creek floor to complement the existing style and colors of the space - it looks awesome!
• They were ready for business on Tuesday!

We should also mention that this was all done during a cold day in December. That’s one of the beautiful features of this particular system: it can be applied without any issues in chillier temps. It’s not fickle like epoxy, requiring just the right conditions for successful, secure adhesion.
