Located near Bend, Oregon, the High Desert Museum has been home to many Pacific Northwestern wonders and objects from surrounding areas since 1982. This includes Native American artifacts, a weathered stagecoach wagon, and a few United States Forest Service items and archives. The museum also is home to several different animal species including birds of prey, tortoises, otters, snakes, frogs and fish.
