Meet this year’s Project Serious Winner!
Petersen Rock Garden is a unique rock garden outside of Bend built by Danish immigrant Rasmus Petersen starting in 1935 using local rocks to create miniature castles, bridges, and monuments. Recognized for its novelty architecture and historical significance, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2013. The garden has faced challenges in recent years, including closures and repair costs. We are thrilled to be able to help them restore the grounds to their former glory.
